3D Designer - Automotive - £34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (Hybrid potential) - 8 Months (potential for yearly renewal)
The role of 3D Designer is creatively responsible for translating the brand identity vision across physical objects, covering a broad range of aspects, including but not limited to, vehicle detail design, off vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment and collections and accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3d solutions.
- Create and implement 3dimensional design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position.
- Able to take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions
- Stakeholder management across interdependent design functions.
- Excellent 3D design experience gained in agency and corporate settings
- Demonstrable experience of delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3d context.
- Sensitivity to form and function
- Knowledge of production, manufacturing and material processes.
- Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – Alias, Blender, Rhino
- Realtime rendering capability in keyshot or similar.
- Unreal engine experience preferable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment

Durability & Robustness Programme Leader - £34/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire / Hybrid potential (8 Months (potential for yearly renewal)
Duties:
This role is within the Durability & Robustness attribute which is part of the wider Driven Attribute Integration organisation. The Programme leader role is to ensure all customer expectations for Durability & Robustness are met with appropriate target setting, design development and completion of whole vehicle verification activities using both virtual and physical test methods.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Support delivery of all Attribute Requirement targets by Gateway
- Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved
- Detailed strategy & delivery planning for the attribute covering CAE, Road Load Data, Vehicle and System rig tests & driven vehicle DV activities
- Working with system and component areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in support of overall vehicle level targets
- Work with component engineers and suppliers as required to drive resolution of engineering issues
- Deliver technical recommendations and test and issue status reports
- Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary
Skills:
- Knowledge/experience of automotive engineering test activities
- Knowledge/experience of automotive technologies or systems
- Project Management experience within the automotive sector
Education:
- Broad knowledge of vehicle technologies
- Understanding of Durability & Strength principles
- Project management of complex engineering test activities
- Experience of problem-solving including application of Root Cause Analysis, 8D, DoE etc.
- Understanding of Systems engineering principles and delivery
- Microsoft package elements Power Point and Excel
Desirable:
- Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles
- Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.)
- Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross functional experience
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

- Evaluating the SAP users’ level of knowledge at appropriated levels
- Assisting with training impact assessments

The Lead UI Designer is responsible for translating the brand principles into the creative vision for how digital turns up across the visual interfaces of the vehicle. Working closely with UX design as part of a design pair, the UI designer shapes how our digital experiences look, feel and behave, and how this is eventually realised into production HMI and UI systems.
Key accountabilities
- Take creative direction and interpret brand principles and apply the vision across digital interfaces.
- Develop and maintain design systems, guides and components
