Skills Required:

The candidate will be part of a team of engineers, the role requires collaboration across functions to ensure there is established compliance with the BOP/BOD to deliver processes that meet basic minute value/ Hours per car (BMV/HPC), quality targets and Capital investment. It is also important to share best practice across the platforms and between manufacturing plants to ensure the client employs best processes available wherever possible.

Relevant previous experience of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques.
Demonstrable ability to create detailed and effective action plans. Proven layout and project management experience on installation programs.



Experience Required:
- Experience of automotive vehicle body assembly process development, joining technologies and body assembly equipment including tooling, automation and robotics is essential.

A working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, particularly CDM Regulations.

- Past experience with Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA)

Ideally educated to degree level in Manufacturing or a similar engineering discipline

- Maximise operator efficiency by load window

- Develop Value for money solutions for all Engineering changes against CAPEX & OPEX targets.

- Delivery of Facility Performance buy-off by driving 9 Panel process / 5F process to ensure facility delivers within its Simulated Targets (DES) for MTTR & MTBF ensuring adherence to Design Cycle time.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

- Define solutions to deliver required capability and manufacturing plant metrics to all new & modified facilities.

Onboarding Supplier Analyst - £30/hr (Inside IR35) - Solihull & Hybrid - (9 Months Initial Contract, potential to extend)

Position Description:
An Onboarding Supplier Analyst is required to understand the requirements expected from the client's suppliers. As part of a new project, these requirements have changed and it will be the responsibility of this person to contact certain suppliers to talk them through these requirements, understand any roadblock/challenges they have for delivering these requirements and validating post Go Live that they have successfully delivered them. Measure and report out performance to key stakeholders and raise any issues to the relevant internal teams for resolution.

Skills Required:
- Strong Communication; written and verbal. Confidence in dealing with mixed suppliers, customer, stakeholder groups and ability to clearly explain detailed requirements to new suppliers. (NB: some of the information to be shared with suppliers covers technical SAP requirements which will be delivered by a technical IT team. Whilst the individual does not need to know SAP technically, they need the confidence to be able to articulate IT requirements in simple business terms).

Automotive Crash Analyst - Up to £35/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 6 Months (potential to extend)

Position Description:
As an Automotive Crash Analyst you will play a pivotal role the delivery of customer vehicle performance. You will be responsible for using advanced CAE tools and techniques to analyse vehicle structural performance in both metallic and composite materials. The role will include the building of full vehicle FE models and subsystems, loadcase derivation, analysis set-up and execution and post-processing of results to generate design recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
You will perform finite element analysis (FEA) to assess the structural and mechanical safety performance of vehicle components, assemblies, and systems.
- Impact assessment of major automotive safety load case scenarios.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive PowerPoint reports and documentation of CAE analyses, results, and recommendations for design changes.
- Run and interrogate models and provide design direction to the senior Design Team
- Be able to use hand calculation to size structures and provide quick guidance
- Assemble pragmatic CAE models with rapid turnaround for design development

Skills & Experience Required:
• Practical knowledge of LS-Dyna software (essential).
• Practical knowledge of pre/post-processing software such as ANSA, HyperMesh, OASYS.

CFD Engineer - £24/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 3 Months (potential to extend)

Position Description:
You will be a member of a dedicated team responsible for the operation of key laboratory equipment ensuring the thermal energy management systems of the client's products are fully developed and efficient, therefore maximising energy deployed predominantly for drivable range.

You will take care of the facility, maintaining at full working order to ensure effective operation up time.

In conjunction with the system engineering teams you will conduct critical development tests through the operation of the laboratory facility providing data in support of, and associate to engineering targets, you will be part of a team that will be pivotal in the development of product and further specification of the laboratory including investment planned in the coming Familiarisation of equipment and local training will be provided with the intention to develop you personally in Thermo fluids knowledge/ disciplines, supporting the wider project teams.
The current operation of the Climatic Laboratory is on a 2-shift double-day pattern. This role operates on days initially but is expected to transition to shift working in late 2023, you will be working under the lead engineer for the laboratory and therefore interfacing regularly with your local test team and customer groups.

Skills Required:
- Advanced knowledge of thermo fluids
- Advanced knowledge of Hardware and Software in the loop testing
- Prior industry experience of Automotive Vehicle engineering

Experience Required:
- Good understanding of electronic system simulation
- Be familiar with system simulation techniques to ensure integration of vehicle systems in a rig environment, experience in dSPACE, NI or Ipotronic systems would be an advantage.
- Reasonable knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics
- Knowledge of calibration and instrumentation.
- Ability to evaluate the system failure modes, help to define further investigative methods to refine understanding/consult on and define resolutions
