- Strong level of experience in the creation of Visual Stimulus (e.g. Computer Generated stills/animation, VR, real-time)
- Strong level of experience using relevant Design software (Autodesk Maya, VRED, Vray, Unreal, Adobe creation suite)
- Understanding of CG Render pipelines
- Strong understanding of Digital Material Creation and Translation processes

The Release Operations team are responsible for the construction, release and maintenance of the Bills of Material for all carlines for all plants for the automotive business. The team support each Engineering area (Tech centres). Engineering Release Specialists are responsible for specific areas of the vehicle. They have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of which parts/commodities are fitted to which specifications of vehicles and for which markets, and will very often provide coaching and support to the Engineering areas on how best to construct a BoM to support downstream consumption. They have a direct impact on vehicle build quality and success at the Manufacturing plants.
Skills/Experience required:
- Must have prior BOM experience within an Automotive role.
- Must have prior customer facing experience.

Duties:
Working in the growing Towing and Carrying team within the Vehicle Capability and Dependability department, the aim of the senior towing and carrying engineer role is to ensure efficient delivery of automotive products that meet or exceed all customer expectations for Towing and Carrying performance. Following system engineering principles, this is achieved through attribute target setting, requirement decomposition and verification and validation sign off using both virtual and physical test methods. To ensure optimum design and delivery the role will strive to continuously improve processes, methods and solutions.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Ownership, management, validation and development of a number of vehicle level towing and carrying requirements and targets
- Ensure robust SMART requirements and targets are cascaded and accepted within all relevant engineering teams including function groups, system and component teams
- Champion through systems engineering principles the development, integration and design verification (DV) plans to ensure accumulating evidence through vehicle programme to ensure delivery of vehicle sign off on-time to requirements.
- Ensure clear status for towing attribute across all programme panel charts
- Ensure zero towing issues at programme job 1
- Support the development of towing and carrying features and designs for future vehicle solutions
- Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices, industry movements and future trends
- Ensure robust championing and closeout prevent recurrence actions
Skills:
- Prior Automotive experience within a product delivery role
- Experience in towing trailers and using trailer towing hardware
- Knowledge/experience of automotive technologies or systems
- Knowledge/experience of engineering test activities
Desirable Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in Features development, delivery and validation
- Experience in vehicle level Towing & Carrying development, testing and validation
- Knowledge/Experience of AGILE working principles
- Working knowledge CAD visualisation systems (e.g. 3Dx, TeamCentre etc.)
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
Education:

As an NVH Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle preparation and test within the Vehicle Semi-Anechoic Chamber test environment, acquiring test data using LMS software and validating results prior to releasing data to the requesting NVH attribute teams.
The NVH Vehicle Dyno Operations have a broad scope for Dynamic and Static test activities at both vehicle and system levels.
Skills Required:
- Must have understanding of rig/vehicle based NVH data acquisition.
- Must have worked within a rig/vehicle test environment.
- Must have awareness of risk assessments for health and safety requirements.
Experience Required:
- Relevant degree or equivalent specific operational experience.
