Infotainment Engineer

Warwickshire - Up to £27.21/hr Ltd Co. - Type: Contract - Duration: 10 Months

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Infotainment Engineer (37144123) - £27.21/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire (hybrid potential) - 10 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Duties:
Infotainment Engineering focus shall be on problem solving, data capture using various tools & techniques, requirements capture within the Infotainment Space. The work includes:
- Reviewing requirements to ensure the intended functionality has been delivered and where there is a deviation, flag this
- Capture critical data to support issue triage & problem solving such as DLT, Wireshark, VLAN, CAN logs, SOMEIP etc.
- Work with internal and external suppliers to ensure issues are being resolved as quickly as possible
- Support investigations on critical / showstopper issues to mitigate programme delays
- Work with the Triage team to problem solve key issues across multiple layers of the infotainment system
- Apply industry best practice to resolve key issues as efficiently as possible
- As this is a fast pace environment, you wil face regular ad-hoc requests and therefore must be willing to work outside your comfort zone and agreed R&Rs
- Engage with the Product Owners within the Infotainment space, delivering solutions to various problems and be a facilitator between teams

Skills:
- Capture & understand Wireshark/VLAN/DLT/CAN/SOMEIP logs
- Six Sigma Problem Solving Techniques - 5-whys, Fishbone Analysis ,IS IS NOT
- Familiarity of Snapshot / Corvus Tools
- Microsoft Office Suite INC Excel / PPT / Word

Education:
- BEng in an Software/Electrical engineering discipline
- Greenbelt Certification

Additional information:
This role is on a contract basis and is Inside IR35.
